John Shulman, President & CEO
As a former head college basketball coach, John Shulman knows how to lead a championship team and is now ready to lead 720 Sports Group. Shulman spent 24 years coaching in college at the highest level and has built a reputation of being a tireless worker. During stops at East Tennessee State University, Tennessee Tech, Wofford College and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), Shulman has over 500 career wins a head and assistant coach. Shulman was the 17th Men's Basketball Coach at UTC. He left his mark becoming the 2nd winningest coach in UTC's history. Shulman led the Mocs to 2 NCAA tournaments and 4 Southern Conference Regular Season Championships. He recruited and coached 11 All-SoCon performers and sent over 50 players to the professional ranks. Shulman was named Tennessee Coach of the Year after beating the University of Tennessee Vols and leading UTC to the NCAA tournament. His love for his players and outgoing personality helped make him an "uncommon" coach.
During his 24 years of coaching Shulman built relationships with the top coaches and management in the college and professional ranks. Shulman now uses those connections and relationships to help the clients of 720 Sports Group. John's love for athletics and passion for the game of basketball led him to start 720 Sports Group in order to help athletes and coaches fulfill their dreams and career goals.
John and his wife, Amy (former Southern Conference Basketball Player of the Year), live in Chattanooga, Tennessee with their three sons, Max, Tanner and JC.
Danny Servick, VP & COO
As a former Division I point guard, Servick knows plenty about leading a team. In 2003, Servick founded Pro One Sports and built the company into one of the top global agencies in the business.
Servick negotiated over $45 million in international contracts over a three year period and in 14 years represented over 200 players including Gerald Fitch (University of Kentucky, Miami Heat), William Avery (Duke University, Minnesota Timberwolves), Rickey Paulding (University of Missouri, Detroit Pistons), Josh Magette (University of Alabama Hunstville, Atlanta Hawks), Mateen Cleaves (Michigan State, Detroit Pistons), Julius Jenkins (Georgia Southern, Europe), Sharrod Ford (Clemson, Europe), Clay Tucker (Wisconsin Milwaukee, Europe), Jonathan Wallace (Georgetown University, Europe), Derrick Allen (Ole Miss University, Europe), Tony Easley (Murray State, Europe) and Kenny Boyton (University of Florida, Europe).
He has earned a reputation for being an honest and professional agent for his clients, and he has developed relationships with some of the most influential personnel in professional basketball around the world. Servick has over 15 years experience as an NBA agent helping players all over the world.
Servick specializes in contact research, negotiations, and draft preparation. He oversees player development programs, creating and implementing comprehensive training programs for our draft prospects and free agents.
At the conclusion of his playing career, Servick joined Morgan Keegan as a Financial Advisor for eight years. His experience as a player and in finance allow him to truly understand the needs of the players on and off the court. Servick graduated from Birmingham Southern College with a degree in business management, was a Registered Investment Broker with NYSE, a Registered Investment Advisor and held licenses in Life, Health and Disability Insurance.
Servick and his wife, Angie, live in Huntsville, Alabama with their two sons, Sam and Jack.
Noah Brown, VP of Player Development.
As a registered stock broker, investment advisor and former professional athlete, Noah Brown offers a unique perspective to professional athletes and other high net worth individuals seeking to maximize the long term financial security obtained during their peak earning years.
Specifically, Noah appreciates both the opportunities and challenges of being a high level athlete. He leveraged his career as an all state high school performer to earn an athletic scholarship to Appalachian State University, where he was a four year starter All-Freshman team member, Southern Conference player of the week and was the top finalist ESPY award winner for the Jimmy V Comeback Player of the Year Award. He won countless comeback player awards in various sports magazines due to returning to basketball after shattering his hand in a car crash in which doctors encouraged him to amputate his hand at the age of 20. Serving as a team captain his Senior year, he is one of the top players in the school history record books in points, steals, assists, three-pointers made, and games played. After receiving his degree in Communication, Electronic Media/Broadcasting in 2004, Noah spent the next seven years playing professionally for the Kansas Cagerz (USBL), Sheffield Arrows (EBL Div - 1), Fuerza Guindas (Ciba Copa), Torreon Algodoneros (LNBP), Halcones Rojos (LNBP), Fuerza Regia (LNBP), Poza Rica Ola Verde (LNBP) and was drafted by the Xin-Jaing Dragons (CBA).
Rather than continuing his professional basketball career overseas, Noah decided to focus on leveraging and sharing his experience from his professional basketball career to help other high net worth individuals, including professional athletes, establish and obtain financial security while also pursuing individual entrepreneurial endeavors.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Noah remains committed to developing the next generation of basketball players, serving as an AAU basketball volunteer, and director for USA Select Basketball based in Charlotte, NC where he is a Mini Camp Coordinator for scouting/evaluating, coaching and training over 80 basketball players annually who potentially play on a European exposure tour team. Through his relationships with basketball owners and general managers he has jump started the careers of 16 players and counting.
